The winners of the 2022 Publisher Podcast Awards were announced last night at a packed awards ceremony at Proud Cabaret City, London.

The awards, sponsored by Spotify and Affino, are a celebration of the podcasting success of publishers and media organizations of all sizes, whether they’ve been in the podcasting space for years, or have just launched.

From over 220 entries and a strong shortlist of 124 podcasts, judges marked the podcasts on a range of factors, including production quality, how well the podcast reflected the publisher’s brand, and strategies to grow the audience.

The Telegraph picked up the Grand Prix award for its Bed of Lies podcast, a true-crime series about women who formed relationships with undercover British policemen who joined leftwing activist groups in the 1990s.
