Media Moments 2020: Launch event

Join Media Voices, What’s New in Publishing and Permutive in a virtual event to launch this year’s Media Moments report, followed by a panel of publishing experts discussing how they will be navigating challenges and opportunities in 2021 and beyond.

Now in its third year, the Media Moments report rounds up all the key events and trends that have shaped the publishing and media landscape this year. Media Voices’ Chris Sutcliffe, Peter Houston and Esther Kezia Thorpe write about how data and advertising, trust, reader revenue, print, diversity and more have changed the industry, and how organisations have responded.

Media Voices is pleased to be able to bring you this report in association with What’s New in Publishing, and with the support of our sponsors Permutive. The speed at which key events can define the future of the industry makes it vital to take a moment to reflect on the year that has passed, in order to be able to shape a strategic response for the future. We hope that Media Moments 2020 will go some way towards helping you do that.

“We are extremely proud to support this report. This has been a tough year for the advertising industry but within all of the gloom a lot of opportunity has been uncovered,” says Permutive’s co-founder and CEO Joe Root.

“The digital advertising ecosystem is ripe for innovation and 2021 will be the year that advertisers and publishers come together to really drive the next generation of technology. I’m really looking forward to it!”

To celebrate the release of the report, we are inviting you to our launch event on Wednesday 2nd December at 11am-12pm EST / 4pm-5pm GMT.

The Media Voices team will present a summary of the report’s key findings, followed by a panel discussion featuring Jemima Villanueva, Executive Director, EMEA at The Atlantic, Aly Nurmohamed, General Manager at Permutive, and another guest to be confirmed. This panel will focus on the opportunities and challenges publishers are facing going into 2021.

Registration for the event is free, and all registrants will receive an early copy of the Media Moments 2020 report after the event ahead of its general release on Thursday 3rd December.
