London magazine publisher Ink eyes £70m sale

The publisher of easyJet’s inflight magazines is weighing a multimillion-pound sale or float of the business.

Ink, a contract publisher based in West Hampstead, London, was set up by entrepreneurs Simon Leslie, 49, and Michael Keating, 47, in 1994 with just a handful of small clients, including British Mediterranean Airways. It currently employs 300 people and is valued at £60m.

The owners of Ink, which also publishes inflight magazines for Thomas Cook, Virgin Atlantic and American Airlines, have now appointed corporate finance advisers from KPMG to look into “strategic options”.
