AOP’s Publishing Tech Talk returns to explore metrics, experience, revenues, and privacy & identity

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The Association of Online Publishers’ (AOP) annual Publishing Tech Talk will return to London from 10th to 13th October, providing publishers with an essential forum to catch up with the latest technologies and innovations used to grow audiences, increase revenues, and empower content creation. Featuring a mix of in-person events and online content, including a podcast hosted by AOP MD, Richard Reeves, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experts on the frontlines of a rapidly evolving industry.

The event will explore how publishers can leverage proprietary and market tech solutions to harness key opportunities and tackle challenges, including: the benefits and limitations of first-party data strategies; the audience metrics most valuable for campaign planning; the benchmarks for success in subscription and loyalty programmes; optimising personalisation and engagement funnels; the future of data privacy; and many more. In-person presentations, panels, and roundtables will be held at The Apartment, The Hoxton, Holborn.

The event will feature speakers, roundtables, and content from premium sponsor, Google, as well as from partners Browsi, EX.CO, Outbrain and UKOM. Other notable speakers include Katrina Broster, Marketing Performance and Tech Director at the Financial Times, Lauren Dick, Director, Business Development at Mail Metro Media, and James Rosewell, Founder of SWAN (Secure Web Addressability Network).

In addition to live events, the Publishing Tech Talk will be supplemented with a library of online resources to provide further details and references for the topics discussed.

“Between our CRUNCH events, a calendar packed with trade shows, and now the return of our Publishing Tech Talk, this has been a fantastic year for in-person networking and education for the publishing industry,” said Richard Reeves, Managing Director of AOP.

“It’s crucial we keep up the momentum, using every opportunity we can to collaborate and educate, strengthening the industry for whatever challenges the future has in store.”
