Dennis, the UK’s sixth largest consumer magazine company, has launched the bulk of its portfolio of brands on to the digital magazine newsstand, Readly. With immediate effect, 19 Dennis titles go live.
Dennis has a diverse portfolio which covers the Automotive, Technology and Lifestyle sectors. In Automotive, titles include Evo, Octane and Land Rover Monthly. Computer Active and Computer Shopper lead the Technology portfolio. The Lifestyle sector ranges across titles as diverse as Cross Stitcher, Cyclist and Viz.
Readly is the UK’s leading digital newsstand and has pioneered the all-you-can-read subscription with a monthly fee of £7.99 which gives consumers access to a range of 620 UK magazine brands as well as a growing inventory of over a thousand international titles.
Jude Kempton, Head of Digital Marketing, Dennis, said: “Our multi-platform approach is built around delivering what our audiences want, whether that is print, web or digital editions. The balance of channels varies from market to market, but we see a big opportunity to grow our digital magazine business with Readly across our portfolio. They are reaching a new, broader audience which we might otherwise find hard to hit cost-effectively.”
Ranj Begley, Readly UK’s Managing Director, said: “Dennis is known for being cutting-edge in its marketing techniques and content delivery. So, their commitment to Readly with such a wide range of titles is a real vote of confidence in what we are doing and the market access we are delivering. The Dennis brands add real depth to our consumer offer. We are thrilled to have them on board.”
Readly’s own research shows that consumers value a mix of being able to rely on familiar brands as well as having the freedom to trial titles that are new to them in a low-risk, low-friction environment.
